Rich in racing history and tradition the Michigan International Speedway is the state’s largest single-day, paid admission sporting event since 1991.
The 1,400 acre track is located in Brooklyn, nestled in the Irish Hills of scenic southeastern Michigan. Racing fans have been converging on this area since 1967 enjoying the non-stop racing action and the premier motorsports facility.
The Michigan International Speedway is expecting to host more than a half million fans during its two race weekends in the summer of 2009. Audiences will enjoy the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, NASCAR Nationwide Series, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and the ARCA RE/MAX Series.
