The Robinson Planetarium in Adrian, Michigan
The Robinson Planetarium serves the Adrian community of Southeast Michigan. The planetarium is a perfect place for families, residents and star gazers of Adrian. The planetarium was built in 1966 and has been the favorite place for local children to learn about the universe. It features a 30-foot dome and has seating for 62 viewers. It is housed on Peelle Hall on the Adrian College Campus.
The planetarium teaches Astronomy courses at Adrian College, the planetarium also offers free entertaining and educational programs throughout the year. In addition special shows can be seen at the planetarium for kids K-12.
The planetarium show takes viewers on a journey of the night sky and features the stars, planets and constellations in the current sky.
